A new tradition starts here.
White Duck has always been about more than just gear. It’s the morning coffee outside the tent, the people gathered around a fire, and staying outside just a little longer.
Basecamp is our way of bringing that world together for the first time.
For one weekend in September, Rustic Creek Ranch becomes home to the White Duck community. You’ll be able to walk through camp setups, meet the team, join activities, hear live music, grab food, and stay overnight.
A Colorado ranch, just south of Denver.
White Duck Basecamp takes place at Rustic Creek Ranch near Bailey, Colorado, a private 160-acre working ranch with open meadows, a creek, ponderosa pines, mountain views, and ranch animals on-site.
It's close enough for a day trip from Denver, but far enough to feel like you’ve left the city behind.
In partnership with Volunteers for Colorado.
Saturday, September 26 is National Public Lands Day, and we’re partnering with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado to help support healthy, safe, and sustainable outdoor spaces.
At Basecamp, VOC will be hosting a table that educates attendees about the role volunteers play in keeping our parks and trails healthy, sustainable, and safe.
Basecampers will also have the option of purchasing a parking pass, with 100% of proceeds being donated to VOC to support the stewardship of Colorado's public lands.

FAQs
Don't see your question answered below? Drop us an email at basecamp@whiteduckoutdoors.com
Are pets welcome?
Yes! The ranch is pet-friendly and we'd love to see your four-legged camping companions. Please keep pets on a leash around shared spaces and be mindful of other guests and the ranch animals on site.
Is food provided?
During the day, yes — we'll have paid food options/food trucks on site as part of the event. For those staying overnight on a camping pass, we encourage you to bring your own supplies for dinner, snacks, and supplementary breakfast options for the morning, in true campout fashion.
Can I bring my own drinks and alcohol?
Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages for personal consumption at their campsite. Please drink responsibly and be respectful of other guests and the property.
What activities are planned?
We're planning a full day of programming including guided hikes, yoga, live music, and plenty of time to explore the ranch and gear on display. The full activity schedule is available on the Eventbrite link and will also be shared ahead of the event — follow us on Instagram or sign up to our email list to stay in the loop.
What products and gear will be on display?
The full White Duck Outdoors lineup will be set up across the property — tents, gear, and accessories, all styled and ready to explore. This is the best way to see (and sleep in) the full range before you buy. And yes — you CAN place orders on site!
Is there parking on site?
Yes, parking is available for free on the ranch. Carpooling from Denver is encouraged — it's just over an hour's drive and a great way to kick off the weekend. We also encourage purchasing the optional parking pass, all proceeds go to Volunteers for Colorado.
What should I bring?
For day pass holders, dress for Colorado weather in late Sept. For camping pass holders, bring everything you'd normally pack for a night under canvas: sleeping bag, pillow, warm layers, toiletries, food for the evening and morning, and a sense of adventure. A full packing list will be sent out!
Is the event accessible for people with mobility needs?
The ranch is a working outdoor property with natural terrain. Some areas may be uneven or unpaved. Please reach out to us directly if you have specific accessibility questions and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Colorado weather in late September can be unpredictable — cool mornings, warm afternoons, and the occasional surprise. The event runs rain or shine, so come prepared with layers and waterproofs. We'll have contingency plans in place and will communicate any changes in advance.
I have more questions, who do I contact?
Reach out to us at basecamp@whiteduckoutdoors.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
